[Football]...
So who's our favourite player in the history of the premiership that hasn't played for our own club?
Mine is Les Ferdinand by a mile, hangs head in shame

Re: [Football]...
On similar lines - did anyone see that thing on SkyOne the other day, had some fan from each club thats played in Premier voting for their fave.
The list - if I can remember fully, was:
1. Shearer
2. Cantona
3. Zola
4. Roy Keane
5. Ian Wright
6. Le Tiss
7. Schmeichael
8. Giggs
9. Henry
10. Bergkamp
(4 & 5 may have been other way round)
In answer to your question, I'll be borin and say Henry

Big Les is a good call, i've always liked him. Southgate and Dublin as well, all model professionals.

The fact that Klinsmann and Sheringham aren't on that list of yours invalidates it stew

Klinsmann was THE first big established foreign name to make an impact in the premiership and should be on the list without doubt.
As for Sheringham, he's definitely a maybe but should be ahead of the likes of Le Tiss or Ian Wright

Ian Wright is a legend - plucked from Sunday league at 23, becomes top arsenal top scorer etc.
Le Tiss - managed to get in England team without playin for "trendy" club, did so much with so little effort!!
Only thing Teddy ever did was in Champ League!

A whole 8 caps or so. And the trendy club thing is bollocks. If you're going to use that one Stuart Pearce and Garath Southgate should be in ahead of Le Tissier.

Zola, Henry and Cantona. There aren't that many players out there who it was (or is) always a pleasure to watch.

I don't think anyone could disagree with any of those - well unless you're really biased but even then in your heart of hearts you must admit it!
I'm surprised noone has mentioned Beckham (or have they?!)

Not really in the same class as those three.
Edit: Add Bergkamp as well actually.

Re: [Football]...
Hmmm, Aaron Lennon just scored a 110 yard strike in my game. Which is rather confusing considering that's actually longer than the length of the football pitch I was playing on?
