The New Nurofen advert
£5 its banned / pulled / removed in 2 weeks or less.



For those who havent seen it, its depicting the effects of a headache. A woman has a rope extend from each of her ears and lumberjacks have a tug of war on each side of her car. Later the rope snaps, which looks horrible too. Added to the fat annoying sumo and some animated or clay made woman showing her tonsils and screaming, the advert itself gives you a headache, which is pretty much going to get you to buy the product which i think aint that cool.

If it gets banned, you can bet your arse theyve achieved their goal. Banned adverts always send sales of a product soaring.

I saw it yesterday, expected a lot worse after seeing your post. Now im confused as to why you think it will be removed, there are much worse ads around.

seems fine to me,
the noise and graphics makes you empathise quite well with the headache,
and then it soothes you gently with lapping waves.
next time your head is thumping and you wish for soothing wave like relief you will think of neurofen and might buy some.
(well i wont because too much ibuprofen gives you cancer)
