Re: so bored, need webcomic
that's true, that would be why I listed a few of quality webcomics in the hopes that others would do the same.
Although I am dangerously close to getting to the point that kura's comics don't seem that bad.

Re: so bored, need webcomic
nah, I'd be far more likely to make someone else swallow razor blades for a bit of a laugh

Re: so bored, need webcomic
Thanks. I was sure I'd searched google images before for a photo, but I must have been mistaken since a search now shows quite a lot of results.
I've been a Nemi fan for quite a while; theres a free daily newspaper in Britain called the Metro which publishes a translated version of the strip every day. In terms of 'serious' comics, its probably my second favourite after Calvin and Hobbes. I particularly like the way Lise manages to make her cynicism cheerful rather than depressive - quite a lot of writers who use comedy to attack aspects of modern culture end up producing work which comes across as resigned, as if the author is bored with life itself rather than disillusioned with society. Peanuts is probably the most obvious example of this; I find a lot of the strips to be quite sad. There's also traces of this in C&H, although Waterson generally manages to dress it up in humour. But in Nemi, Lise almost always manages to make her positive outlook on life shine through, no matter how critical shes being.

I like http://www.pvponline.com (I read every single comic in that series in about 5 days a couple of months ago. My eyes bruned)
There's also http://www.leasticoulddo.com, though that's changed it's appearance a few times over the history of the comics.
http://www.vgcats.com/ has been recommented to me, and
www.purplepussy.net seems a bit random but quite funny. It's not a hardcore porn site, before anyone gets excited.
http://nestacos.fefea.org/ is apparently good (it doesn't load for me atm but someone said it was funny yesterday...)

Re: so bored, need webcomic
Someone already mentioned Ctr+Alt+Del but it is worth mentioning again. In my opinion it is THE best Online Comic.
Also Dorktower is amusing.

Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.

Re: so bored, need webcomic
I was linked to a site with loads of comic strips like this but I lost the URL.
Edit: http://www.mgcomics.net/ I think but the site appears to be down.
