'Coolest' moment in a film - EVER!
Whats yours?
For me it would have to be the fantastic scene with Dennis Hooper and Christopher Walken in True Romance.

Watching Dondi do a one-man wholecar (or rather, watching pictures and hearing him tell about it), between two cars (so that he had to use his feet to get up and keep balance), that burned most stuff that comes out today. Or, the wholetrain at the end of that same movie (Stylewars)
But thats a documentary, not a "real" film.. And besides, next week im gonna have another favorite

There's a few that spring to mind.
Assuming Cool = Beautifully shot scene.
Most recently the opening bullets sequence in Swordfish blew me away.
Anything by Oliver Stone is beautiful to watch.
Same applies to Scorsese (apart from Gangs of New York).
But for me, the coolest moment (but also the saddest) is when Bereneger meets DaFoe in the forest in Platoon.
Also cool is in Boondock Saints when the brothers come through the ceiling.
Amores Perros has some really cool shots too. Run! Lola Run! Is amazing in place too (the casino scene in particular).
Hrm... I don't think it's possible to identify one single "cool scene".

"it's the end of the world as we know it" playing in independence day on the radio at the beginning. was a nice touch.
shame the rest of the film was a high budget B movie tho

The near-end scene in Leon
The scene where Leon is walking out to freedom and Agent Stansfield shoots him in the back, whilst on the ground dieing Leon hands Stansfield a grenade ring as a "present from Mathilda"

In no particular order :
- The end bit in Untouchables as you say ("You got him?")
- The end bit of Leon (as stated)
- The bit in Heat where DeNiro kills the guy who killed the prostitutes + his mate ("Look at me")
- Jaws : "Smile you son of a bitch"
- The bit in the Matrix where Neo decides to fight the Agent in the underground station instead of running away. Or when he comes back from the dead to own them all.
- In "Salt of the Earth" where the community stop the debt collectors from taking the workers stuff.
- When Jimmy Stewart realises it's "A Wonderful Life".
- When John Travolta kicks the hell of the guy molesting "his" daughter in Face Off
- In High Fidelity when Tim Robbins get's his head kicked in.
- Gattaca where Ethan Hawke beats his brother in the swimming contest.
In short where "justice" is achieved (of a sort) in a movie is the coolest part.

The Matrix scene when neo 'live again'.
The part in aPOCALYPSE NOw, where u meet the army that says: 'Nothing like the smell of napalm in the morning'.
The Terminator scene with, 'ill be back'.
Theres many more but i cba to think..
P.S I know this ones sick, but i enjoyed the scene in requiem of a dream(good film), with the 2 women and the dil*o, when the old man says: 'ass to ass' *g*

watch the german subtitled version, the german language marks it seem scarier in places imo, in english i'd imagine bits to be a bit weaker

When the sniper dies in 'Saving private ryan'
almost complete boondock saints, but mostly when he starts pointing the gun at himself and screams 'I CANT BUY A PACK OF SMOKES WITHOUT WALKING INTO 9 DIFFERENT GUYS YOU ****ED' and then starts screaming about the cat etc. excellent.
