The Com-Unit in my opinion could be alot better than it is. at this point the java irc client it uses jpilot only allows the user to be on 1 channel at a time, now most people i know who go on IRC need to be in more than 1 channel at a time.
I know everyone in their right mind should just use mirc to get on, but if your away from home, and on a public computer, u can't install such software to check up on IRC.

My Suggestion to PA Crew is to change the Com-Unit java client to one that supports more than 1 channel at at time, such as http://eirc.sourceforge.net
that is a free java client, which i've personally found to be a much better java IRC client than Jpilot

I used to solve that problem by opening many com-units at a time. Now I use mirc

and show me a 'regular' pa player - who by now use comunit, instead of irc (mirc)..

and il tell him what to do..

The com unit is just a way to get on IRC. From there on people can help you installing IRC progs. It worked for me.

I have no question that mIRC is THE WAY to get on IRC, but i know there are times when people don't have access to mIRC, and still need to get on IRC to check-up on whatever.

LIES, dedicated players are ALWAYS AT HOME, so they have always acces to MIRC
