most of the player base lives in GMT, therefore surely its common sense game time should be GMT???

It should be and always should have been GMT. Everyone knows how many hours ahead or behind GMT they are, its the benchmark. PA was only ever CET because the original developers sitting up in Norway were too shortsighted to realise what most of the international customers would understand best, i.e. GMT. Now with the game being UK based, of course it should be GMT.

lol
I doubt anyone wount find out how many hours they are from the CET time if the game was CET time. they could just have looked at the clock in game, and theyr own clock.. so basiccly, it dosnt mather what kinda "timezone" it is in. but since it have been CET for 3 years (8 rounds) thats more reasonable to use then GMT.

Actually GMT is perhaps the most stupid time zone to pick. After all GMT is a constant time that doesnt change for Daylight Savings Time. As soon as the UK moves to BST its gonna confuse every single player here. That is of course if the time itself doesnt jump to BST

GMT is as sensible as CET was, simply because it is server time. That is pretty much what the game runs on, server time. So, as it is now hosted in UK< it uses UK time. I suspect this is automatic, and I suspect it will change with daylight saving.

*Directs all the whingers to this thread.* Can we at least have all the whining in the same place please? It's more effort to ignore two threads.

The bottom of the thread says it all:
"All times are GMT +12 hours. The time now is 01:59".
But my PC clock says 03.11 am!
We who live outside Europe have always had this issue, get over it!

Well, the "creators" have to change something to support the illusion that they actually DO anything for the game.
Clock is a pretty good choice - everyone sees it, doesn't really affect the game in any way, and gives people lots of stuff to talk about.
Good choice if you ask me.
