Planetarion - Round 12 over, Speedgames & Round 13 imminent
The latest round of Planetarion , Jolt's hugely popular space-age browser game, came to an end shortly before Christmas with an official closing ceremony. Thousands of players competed against each other for domination of the universe during the round, with alliances shifting on a daily basis as groups of players tried to gain a political advantage in the search for that elusive number one spot. This eventually went to the legendary alliance 1up who, despite being outnumbered by their rivals, managed to record a convincing win. After a short break for the holidays, a "Havoc" game is currently running, whilst Speedgames later in the month will offer a chance for newcomers to get into some fast and furious action. With development of the game ongoing, the much anticipated Round 13 will arrive towards the end of this month with all new ship-stats and a bunch of other improvements - including an innovative galaxy structure never used before in the game.
