I guess some believe that the spirit of the game is all encompassing. There are no PA related specific rules to alliance behaviour and conduct, and the body of unwritten rules is highly evolutive and uncertain.
The fact that there are several groups battling for supremacy, with many other non-aligned factions thrown into the mix, denies the theory that powerblocks are alive and well in round 8.
Due to the mechanics involved, alliance cooperation this round is not as rigid and institutional as it was last round or in rounds previous.
Alliances are smaller, attack groups or battle groups more prevalent and when you look at the core large alliances that have formed groupings, they account to far less than half the organized alliances working in the game.
In terms of raw power, this balance swings back on itself a little, but all in all, I see the game of inter and intra alliance politics being played the way it should.... non-static, evolving and unstable.
All I am saying is that if you do not like the fact that Fury sucked into its robust belly core members of Adelante like so much space lint, declare war and attack them.
If you think Titans / LDK and DTA are working together, work against them.
If you dislike the fact that FanG has made "friends" with other alliances... strike them down.
This round is becoming quite interesting, and like I said, things are just starting to heat up. Let's concentrate on that.
