Well, just to kill of some arguments in this thread as well as some time.. The scanning system has been the same since, well, forever. The rules virtually scream for people to use scan planets, and most players are happy to oblige. Bring it up with the PA crew, I'm sure they are happy to ignore you.
xx:57 launch time is safe, xx:59 is risky, this has been pointed out before. Never trust net servers, they always die on you.
Attacking in parallel and inside parallel alliance has been around since... round 4 when parallels were introduced (obviously it's been clusters in between, but...)
The function of parallel alliances has seldom been to be an alliance. It's a means for the strong to backstab the weak while appealing to "let's try to talk over that we took 500 roids from you last night. It was fully intentional, but we are just going to stall in here so you can't even retaliate." This has been going on since at least -well- forever. Shame on you if you weren't expecting it.
On the issue of multi-escorts. I assume you have reported this, I'd like to see cheaters closed. Too many people simply whine and don't bother to actually report (I guess PA team really encourages this too by not having a button inside the game)
