To boldly go...
Inspired both by my lack of sleep, and by Nodrog's gender neutral thingamajig thread.
I find the PC version of
"To boldly go where no man has gone before."
ie.
"To boldly go where no-one has gone before."
To be completely and utterly... wrong.
"Man" was, I believe, used as an abbreviation of "human" (as it is so often when PC idiots take swipes), hence "where no human has gone before."
Now consider that "one" was deemed an adequate replacement. Couldn't aliens be counted as "one"? I think they could.
How many times did the Enterprise go anywhere that "no-one" has gone before?

PPS. I considered bulletpoints after the retarded replies on Jonny's lovely thread, but I'll just get called a trekkie twat anyway, so what do I care?
