For the first time ever I tried a Bloody Mary as a hangover cure.

I won't be trying it again.

I used to always wake up, have an alka seltza and watch tv for an hour, did the trick.

No idea why I stopped doing it.

Bloody Mary's are very tasy though...

There was a shot of vodka in it, a shot of something else the specifics of which escape me and a little too much tabasco. Oh, and a stick of celery. Which was useful for about **** all.

People who don't get hangovers must be fat, as only having a lot of fat in your stomach would prevent you from getting a hangover if you drink quiet enough

You drink water while drinking, or before going to bed. Prevents hangovers. Either that or have a ridiculously high immune level after years of alcohol abuse.

I only drink vodka, and never get hangovers.

I of course feel awful the next morning, but that's more existential despair than a headache.

Best "cure" for a hangover is to drink a pint of water before going to bed.
Headaches by drinking too much are caused by dehydration (strange eh? Something to do with the alcohol, I dunno what).
Anyway, as you get dehydrated there is less liquid in your head protecting your brain from hitting the skull and so causes a headache.

The guy who initially told me this knew to explain it better. Mainly because he had the comfort of telling it in his own native language and not being tired from a long day of school.
