I can agree. If it was that simple. But escape engaged themselves in war as if they were one of the big boys, and were highly favored to finish top 3 in many peoples eyes.
Additionally, they closed the project down after technically a 3rd of a round, due to the HC being incapable of a second stint at a proper alliance. Furthermore, excuses of being busy with RL, once again continues to be the fallback complaint, when we all know that the true reason for the breakup, was due to being ****ted.
Had escape been succfessful we would not have seen this thread, hence, taking them out of the class of any decent starter alliances. I mean, even that alliance BIG managed more rounds than escape.

People who viewed Escape as being top 3 was there own persumptions, you can't use that against the alliance itself. I've never used RL issues as an excuse, but as a fact (you should know about these apparently) it was one of my main concerns when i accepted to play. And yes we got ****ed by Omen, so be it, it showed who were the weak links in the alliance and who didn't want to try and throw there weight when things got rough. Now i have never said whether Escape was a success or not. In all honesty it was more a failure IN MY OPINION for the fact that we will not be playing next round, but then again Exilition win every round they play then stop for a round or two (what does that mean?? Are RL reasons used as an excuse for that??)

I can understand your points chika and your point of view is well argued as we didn't succeed to the level that many thought, but i have learnt alot this round and met some players in the game that i generally respect and players that i generally have no respect for what so ever. So for me there are many good and bad points which i have learnt, and im sure it the same for everyone who was involved in Escape this round. Hopefully we will be back soon and will be better equipped for it, without the mass recruited players who should of joined SubH from the start i may add.

On your other point, it is quite scary how you can talk utter crap and it being linked with half the pa community, so that was a very good point

Actually we were at war with Sin and ND after Omen and took a considerable amount of roids off them night after night, despite having a lower playerbase and a lower value.

Escape plays until the end.

It is NOT your right to take us out of any catagory, now put any in, as you continue to demonstrate an inability for facts. The reasons we have disbanded are true. We couldve continured but it wouldve been unfair to the members if the command couldnt put an active round in. Im almost tempted to try and prove you wrong, and play next round with members in two, but to do that on the basis of an absolute wanker's over opinionated and frankly uneducated points of view, id feel id be letting myself down.

Im NOT asking for any credit, im telling the people who want to know. If you didnt want to know stay off the thread and stop acting like you have somethin gimportant to say, because you don't.

Escape fought a phantom battle with alliances after they got cunnted, that noone noticed. TRUE. Escape disbanded faster than Valhalla. TRUE. Escape was a failure. TRUE.

NO. ToF founders were assholes that were valhalla that wanted to start a more active allaince under a new name. Valhalla STILL existed for a round or two during ToF's stint, but they were low in the rankings because ToF took thier main members.

know your shit indeed, well Valhalla lasted for about half a round into r11, where they then were merged into ToF =), and we didnt want to start an alliance with a more active core, we justed wanted a stable alliance and at that time that wasnt possible inside valhalla due to constant bickering between certain hc. Also ty for calling us assholes we appreciate comment like that from ppl like ... u ^^

To be contrary, I'm going to agree with Chika and say that Valhalla still featured in the alliance rankings in Round 12. However, without someone producing the alliance DB from that round (Wakey?), I doubt we can settle this.

You're failing to understand the different between the reform that Veedeejem! claims and the off-shoot that Chika maintains occurred.

Veedeejem! tells us that Valhalla 'reformed' into Tides of Fire. This implies that none of Valhalla was left behind. Chika says that Valhalla was still around, but the first time round you guys managed a successful uprising (unlike that Evolution business) and got rid of the Valhalla HCs (from what I can tell).

ok. Goodfellah was accurate in saying that ToF left to have a stable command due to bickering. This was not my point. If he checks the initial ToF recruitment thread, which I posted in btw, he will see the activity portion. Valhalla DID in fact merge into ToF, as I agreed, but Valhalla and ToF existed at the same time, which was my point.

I decided that at this point, the members should have to choose who to follow and worry if they made the right decision.

Therefore, I announced my departure from Valhalla, the disbanding of Empire and the death of EoV. I knew that the only way these alliance members could move on would be under new leadership that neither I nor Odin could provide. I made this sacrifice in the hopes that one of the HC would step up and fill the void left and lead the Valhalla members into next round. After this announcement several HC approached me to help them take over EoV. This idea spawned Pathogen (formerly Vidar, who was formerly a strong supporter of Odin) to form ToF. Pathogen is a strong leader and began to realize this while seeing the destruction of his beloved alliance. Pathogen realized that the alliance is not a name but a grouping of friends and trusted allies. I wish I could be there with him to help ToF as a member but it is best if I move on. Good luck ToF and Valhalla in the next round. I see great potential in ToF HC and ToF members.

And if anyone wants to give praise to Valhalla for a good round please acknowledge the Valhalla High Council. They were the ones that kept Valhalla running and they were the ones with the respect of the members. Congratulation to Valhalla HC, job well done.

Fellah is saying that valhalla existed as an alliance for a while, then merged into tof. LASTING LONGER THAN Escape did. Which my original arguement was. sigh. Thats where you agreed with me fellah.

I assume he started off with SubH. After a brief visit in Omen, he was promptly kicked from the alliance. After that, no idea what happened to him.
