Wanker of the Month - July Nominations
Nominations are open for teh July.
THE RULES :
Your nomination must be for someone who is in the public eye and thus considered "Famous" or "Infamous". The nomination of internet posters, regardless of their status within the online community, will be sneered at and considered banal.
One nomination per poster, for great justice.

Re: Wanker of the Month - July Nominations
I'd like to nominate Hazel Blears, because she seems to signfy to me all that's wrong with a certain breed of Labour female politicians; snobbish, arrogant, ridiculously sanctimonious, insanely smug, and generally just a big fat home office morally bankrupt bitch with an annoying voice.
Everytime I see her on a news programme I almost immediately want to stab her.

After Portugal's performance just now, I'm nominating big Phil Scolari. He's like a fatter and more annoying version of Ronaldo.

I don't know what you're talking about. A massive public sector building project with a unmovable deadline in an already overheated construction market - what could possibly go wrong?

She's not right-wing, even if she's what's termed a DINO (democrat in name only). She's just a 'soccer mom' corrupted by Washington who thinks tha tthe solution to everything is to legislate on it (ban it). Hillary Clinton is following in her footsteps .
It's not a serious nomination though, no point fagging up your poll - even if it does have Doherty in, again.

I know by American standards her support for abotion rights and a limitation on the right of private individuals to own bazookas probably makes her a dyed-in-the-wool communist, but let's not get carried away here.

Without consulting records, I seem to recall that almost every senator voted for the PATRIOT Act, Russ Feingold being the only exception. So she's hardly culpable on that front.
She's also pro-gun regulation, pro-content regulation (basically a sell-out to TV/Hollywood over anti-piracy measures), anti-drug control (suprisingly) and pro-environment.

Bulldog broadband for being total assholes.
Minimum 12 month contract - fair enough.
Not letting the last month be part of a new contract at my new house 10metres away - extortion.
So I signed up with Tiscali instead and bulldog lost out overall. \o/

Senator Feinstein is a moderate democrat. She is one of those individuals in our senate who is willing to, occasionally, cross party lines and vote with the other side of the aisle. If we had more senators like her from both parties things would probably be better all around, imo.
I tend to wander all over the political map myself, depending on what the issue is. Pro gun control, anti welfare. Pro-choice, pro-war. Split personality perhaps. At any rate, I voted for Feinstein but not for Boxer the raving liberal whore.

Trivial compared to the utter butchery that's been on offer this month but still Bill Simmons of ESPN is worthy of a huge smack in the face for patronising 3/4 of the premier league.

Goal No. 5: Pay careful attention to the list of celebrity fans attached to each team. For instance, one of the EPL teams (we'll reveal which later in the column) counts John Gotti and Osama bin Laden among its fans. I'm not a celebrity, but just in case somebody mistook me for one, that's not a list I'd want to be on.

EDIT: Don't get me started on his final choice. I won't spoil it but....TWAT.
