so anyone of u been shopping there? as i dont want my creditcard emptied, or not getting my chip etc..

IF your ps2 breaks down now if you take it anywhere to be fixed and it's either chipped or looked lik eit has been chipped they now have to report you to the police.

Erm.....
No.

If you send it via offical channels, and its still within warranty, you will have had a refurbished model sent to you before they have ever received your old one.

If it is after the warranty, you have to pay 50 quid and the above still applies.

All the hardware guys keep the chipped refurbished units. Perk of the job I guess.

"Technically" SbOlly works for the twits that make these consoles - for what that's worth. I'm sure he's aware of their evil warranty procedure (especially after I broke one of his PS2 after borrowing it for three minutes).

I dont see where it is a police matter if someone has a modified playstation.

The best they could do is refuse to repair it as you have breached the warranty agreement.
