see, i visit loads of forums with image tags on. people there aren't twats about it, it works.

we restrict it to photoshop threads

it worked before for a while

hell, stick someone in charge to mod it and any other pics that turn up they delete, it ain't that hard.

As I've said n times before, just have it for people who've registered over a year ago, and delete their accounts if they abuse it or something.

The made it so that custom titles came with time once... so I cant see why that cant be applied to other things?

and giving extras (as if they ever would) should be based on post counts rather than joining date as this prevents people digging out their old gimmicks

If there gimmicks have been around for X time, then so have they.

Fair enough, they could abuse things with their gimmicks, but the chances that they will bother and that they have an infinite supply of these is quite unlikely.
