Donation clear, fund empty. "Help" planets donate more to the fund. You hide your resources using the production feature, and you're back down to value given by your 2 structures and 3 roids. You have 9 million resources around, but they're hidden. Repeat. 18 million. Repeat. 27 million. Repeat. 36 million. Repeat. 45 million. (which is already 450 k turned into raw fleet). Is my logic flawed?
At the point where the "help" planets have larger resource hoards, you can just donate a lot larger chunks in a doze, and then hide them again to repeat the process.

Your logic seems to be ok, but did you calc in that it takes donation res 7/8 ticks (not completly sure how long) to reach your planet, so you would have to lower your res for that time caus when planet goes over avg value the donations are cancelled. So by the time you can recieve new donations your res that you've hidden is only worth a refund cost of maybe 5-10% so you wouldn't gain much doing it

Re: 1up's not-ingame members
No, you're right. You'd just have to avoid do the donations dozens of times as the resources would only be given in very small chunks (ie 67k worth of value plus whatever by your reckoning).
Definitely slow thought processes this morning.

I didn't know you needed to be under average value the whole time, are you sure on that? I'm sure some total masochist would inflict that on himself to be guaranteed winning the round though.

As has been stated before, common sense and PA sometimes take wildly diverging paths.

Short answer: No
PS Expect a randomly selected ascendancy planet to take the lead shortly

By using the production feature you start production to hide your res and then cancell it. Your resources are the same as it were, but your value is still the 3k. Repeat this untill you have all the res from these support planets.
Yes they are concidered as support planets and they might and prolly will get closed, but the supported planet won't since that planet hasn't done technically anything illegal.

Considering precedent set at the end of last round I wouldn't be surprised to see the donated resources removed.

Re: 1up's not-ingame members
Given all the restraints on the gal fund this would actually be completely impossible to do, no matter how hard you tried or how active you were.
If you take values as of the last tick (about tick 1320) then the maximum you can be donated in 1 tick is:
int((1 +(1320 -72)/13) * 100000)
or 9.7 million. As ships this would be 97k score. Now take into account the fact you can only be donated to once every 8 ticks and work out how many donations it would take to get up to about 8million score. It would be over 80 donations, 640 ticks. This is obviously a vast underestimate as the longer before the end of the round you get, the less you can have donated to you. There's probably some obscure way of working out the exact amount of time it would take but even if it was possible it would require being online every tick (in order to keep your value down) for virtually the whole round to be even close.

Re: 1up's not-ingame members
Due to the allyfund restrictions you can donate only 702,492,300 res to planet during round (1300 ticks). So that's only 7 mil points. To win the game there should be someone else from same "ally" ingal.

That won't work. They'd need to have a higher average score than the 'winner' planet, but that's (eventually) impossible. Also, it's impossible to donate a planet to #1, since you can't donate a planet to #1 in your alliance, and thus not #1 in the universe either.

As I have stated, there is the "prodution feature" with what you can keep your score low, so people can donate to you even when you have more resources than rest. That is ofc if you use this feature every tick.

Ah, right, missed that. Nice combo. Wouldn't even need to use it every tick. Unfortunately there's a limit to the amount of resources you can have stored.

Appoc says the maximum is 2147483641 of each resource.

IIRC it was once limited to 100 mil of each? What he stated is just that the datatype used can take that many res.
