Re: Churchill: The Holywood Years.
Ive heard its truly the worst movie ever made by a group of comedians who havent been funny since 1986.
Although ive yet to confirm this, due to the fact id rather spend my £5 watching a decent movie.

I just thought "How did Jakiri get 19.000+ posts?", and then I remembered, "Because he is the spam-man of yore."

Re: Churchill: The Holywood Years.
Judging it by its trailers alone........it looks to be worse than Vampires 2 : Los Muertos and Starship Troopers 2 compressed into 2 hours of visceral non-stop eye gouging mind **** dullness.
By that I mean it is not very good, in case that point was not clear enough for some of you.

I've heard nothing but good about it, though have yet to hear anything from people whose opinions actually matter at all.

Re: Churchill: The Holywood Years.

i just thought id point this out incase someone out there REALLY thought it was another U571 or Pearl Harbour type movie.

Re: Churchill: The Holywood Years.
I've seen it, thought it was fantastic, but a lot of people thought it was really bad. It's a love or hate film, but people need to understand that it is satire before judging it.

People need to understand that whilst the group of comedians behind "The Comic Strip" were funny back in the 80's, and maybe even into the very early 90's, this type of humour just isnt funny anymore. Its passe, been done, and without the "We hate the government" diatribes it benefitted from in those days, it lacks any kind of longevity.
A one or two joke movie at best.
