You appear to be saying, that if your not in your Block of angels/tof/vsn, then you must be in a block against you ?

And anyone not in one of the apposing alliances you have mentioned, is affiliated as a hanger on and therefore also hostile to your group ?

ok to clear things up as this is pretty much BS in here

we didnt ask ND to hit Omen

we had help against ND and Omen due to the fact that they are beeing hated
same as Omen hated ND and other way arround but seems they are friends now

this is not a whining thread
im happy we at least have some movement even if its agasint us

we lost this war already when we didnt finish off Omen or ND but it wasnt in our aim to create a big block
we ofc could do it and threat other alliances into hitting our enemies

We lost our war when we didnt finish omen and nd
Omen lost the war when they started hit us planet vise hi cain and Km
and nd lost the war when they hit us too
at least if we lose than with heads up

No-one would be out of the war if certain alliances grew some balls and acted appropriately.

actually sjor, only reason omen turned on angels when there was "war" is because Angels came to omen and claimed ND blocked against them.

after proof, omen decided to help angels and what does angels do after a day or 2, they switch to galraids and leave omen alone facing several alliances.

in other words angels made a mess, and expected omen to clean it up, they didnt and turned on angels. Again this time Omen was alone facing angels block.... and when did angels block evr kill omen, i see them still far alive.

remember this is not pia, alliances dont die because they lose roids some nights...

this round im in omen, and i received quite some angels/nd/lch/vision/tof incs in same nights, it doesnt mean theres a huge block against us (only proof so far was angels/vsn/tof)

thing is, angels ****ed up ALOT so far, u let alliances down that wanted to help angels, u coordinated attacks against those alliances with flakbuddys, and this only because angels want to play the safe way this round, as in turning into cowards (see angels/omen vs nd/co) before u had a block, u chose to pick your flak for incase and really would want to continue with just galraids. (hello r13)

None from angels hc have go to omen asking for help coz nd was blocking against us !

Omen was attacking nd planets .we were attacking nd gals at this point we were not attacking planets neither gals with angels in it . then omen start attacking us next day both of us attacked nd . so maximilian get better info

Excuse me? why should we (as in xVx) care? In our state we weren't a contender for the #1 position this round. There are 4 well-sized and apparantly organized alliances ahead of eXi (VsN remains to be seen how they recover from their merge) who are all in the position to win. The ball is in their court should eXi prove to be a #1 contender.

We do not mind helping to make the fight for #1 interesting, but we sure as hell don't have ANY reason to start a fight with eXi. Let those other 'leet' alliances show they are willing to actually fight for #1 first.

So what was ToF doing earlier on? Forming a three-way block on 3rd ranked alliance in order to hand the 7th place alliance some more time to grow towards that win? Or did you just accidentally get your high command planet closed for cheating? I mean, what's up in Tides of Fire nowadays?

generally by this stage of the round, any decent alliance's intel will be good enough to know what coordinates another alliance roughly occupies

The reason ND/Omen haven't helped Angels was because if they did, Angels would have won. Even if Angels participated this would have happened:

This is a classic Angels tactic. It has happened time and time again. When i read this I was not surprised, because they've done it many times before. The reason ToF/VsN aren't getting burned is because they appear to have no ambition to win the game while Omen and ND obviously do. So attacking exilition has been made a waste of ND and Omen's time. If Angels want to win, they should get their block and do it themselves, maybe then they might get some assistance. Their block is like a massive roadblock to ND or Omen, so in that case ND and Omen might as well take Angels down with them.

As far as I'm concerned, if ND don't win it's nothing to do with politics, it's because they aren't playing well enough - they need to play better and quickly. If we play better, we've got a good chance.

I'm going to disagree with this. If you're ND/Omen, and you are looking at the final war of the round, would rather it be against Angels or eX?

If ND/Omen had helped Angels against eX, eX might be out of the race by now (there are some pretty big assumptions behind that statement, admittedly). Angels would be further ahead than they are, but they'd still be Angels. If the alternative is waiting until eX are within touching distance of #1 (they're #2 on roids already) then I think it's a poor alternative.

afaik this was during the small ND war. was an idea of Mobrulz which we didnt accept we kept hitting ND.
and we didnt go for it obviously

cura and aboutr exil
we expected the "backstabb" or call it however u want, allainces claiming they want exil lose and they recive so much incsomings and are ready to talk. and the first second we dont go after them but after exil its like xmass to them and run to exil offering to nap them.
we expected nd to do the move but not that many alliances. so lets see how much free roids u get of us
considering the latest attacks u gonna lose 10k value per roid

Err, i think i know what we decide for what reason alot better than you do, don't you agree? I know of every desicion made the past rounds on a political level and the reasoning why and have no reason whatsoever to lie about it.

And i know you approached us for some level of coorperation on targetting someting, but like i posted in the post you quoted from. We have no reason nor desire to help with the fight for #1 as long as everything is still very open. There is currently no clear winner and enough chances for the top 5 to manouvre themselves in a position to win and therefor no reason for us to get involved and be cannon fodder for another alliance.

tbh If I wanted to "win" the round I would just build 1 shiptype and attack the fattest planets in universe with it. Then get roided for value drop. Attack, roid, get roided.

Score whoring ftw, you dont need block, naps, arbiters or whatever for it.

Okay so this is what happened.

ND, second, NAP/ally with LCH, eleventh.

Angels, first, hearing of this overwhelming powerful block, decide their only recourse is to approach Omen, third, and hit the aforementioned alliances (or just ND?) for a couple of nights.

Angels and Omen then fall out over god knows what for god knows why. Angels then at some point decide to NAP ToF, fourth, and VisioN, seventh(?), and co-operate with them on attacks. This, of course, is not a block because errrr...

Omen, either before the aforementioned NAPings or afterwards, decide to NAP VGN, tenth, because of errrrr...

At this point the universe is utterly confused. Everybody's still doing galaxy raids and nobody's really damaging another alliance but there sure is a war going on!

Some undetermined length of time after this ND NAP eXilition because, let's face it, nobody likes Angels. By this process of elimination everyone's target lists have been reduced to two other alliances.

So our current situation looks like this, the first placed alliance say they've lost while being allied to the fourth placed and fifth placed alliances, the second placed alliance decided to make themselves lose by killing as many of their fleets as fast as possible, the third placed alliance has no interest in doing anything, the fourth placed alliance has condemned themselves to not winning through NAPing the first placed alliance, the fifth placed alliance never really had any intention of winning anyways and the sixth placed alliance are going to make up a 25% score gap and win the round.

I see...

If people want to correct me please do so as I'm going to put this all in my next logbook entry so we have it all saved for posterity!

The point is Rob, hitting ex and just having angels harassing you and taking free rocks is irritating. Angels have a block already. The point is Angels would not help for a sustained period, and would actually leave us exposed on enough occaisions to make the whole campaign counterproductive and infact, might lead to exilition being victorious anyway. What you have to appreciate is that Angels can't hold an agreement with any of their rivals, their credibility is nil and thus nothing with them workable if their current HC remain incumbent. Their strategy would be to prolong the war as long as possible and that any conflict with even their initial cooperation would become unworkable and end up as Angels as good as being on Exilition's side on some occaisions.

The mistake you've made is that you think Angels are rational and cooperative in actions of mutual interest: they are far from any of these adjectives. The scenario you highlight is actually worse for ND/Omen than the current one, because Angels won't cooperate, not by any stretch.

im starting to get very bored trying to drill the same point into your heads. you handed exilition the round with your actions. now unless you can explain to the boards how you plan to stop exilition when you have dispatched of the "uber evuhl" block of Angels/Vision/ToF to prevent them destroying potentially the ENTIRE internet [/scarcasm] then i wont be posting anymore on this shit thread
