For the sake of it, I have renamed it to Ticks!

You plan and conspire, as the hours go by
Slapping around on a peon in your alliance
Waiting for someone to get his arse online
Tired of endless hours online, staying on to check the game
You are young, the round is long and there is time to drink today
And then one day you find, ten ticks have got behind you
No one told you when to click, you missed a research tick
You attack and defend to catch up with the leader, but he's gaining
And fleets are catched, your ships are stolen and killed
The game is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of time and one round closer to death
Every round is getting longer, never seem to find the time
PANs that either come to naught or threads of planning gone to waste
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the planetarion way
The ticks are gone, the ceremony over, another round is at end

It's good to do some schoolwork and sleep at nights
