The last Dragon

Garth was told many stories about those mighty creatures the common people called dragons. His Grandfather was a Dragon-Rider and always told him stories about those mystic reptiles and about why they dissapeared from Talon.
They were fed up with the wars of the humans and elbs, they got wiped out by a desease, the evil dwarfs killed the last of em or simply their time had just come.
No one knew the real reason, but for 60 years no one has seen a dragon anywhere. Garths grandfather did not want to believe that the last Dragon had dissapeared and always told stories about a mysterious island in the Muleon Sea where the last Dragons escaped to. However he was a old man and no one really wanted to believe him. He got laughed at for his stories of this island, no one ever heard about it and when he was asked how he would know about this, he replied Gryth the dragon had told him.
Ofc everyone knew Dragons couldnt speak and so Garth´s grandfather became the mock of the people.
Garth seemed to be the only one to believe him, and after his grandfather had died he told his father and dad he would want to find out about the last dragon.
His parents werent happy for Garth to leave, but they knew he was a young man who has got to see the world.
So that one fine day Garth packed his bag, his bow and the bit of money his parents could give him and moved out of town heading towards the coast of Muleon.
The first days of his journey went without trouble, he moved southwards through the villages. Whenever he met someone and got asked where he was going he was laughed at, as he told hes going to find the last Dragon. No one believed in dragons anymore and he started to feel sorry for his grandfather as he was always laughed at.
Will he find the unknown island ? Will he find that last Dragon and is it true that dragons can speak?

Re: The last Dragon

Garth made his way out of the villages towards the Semalonis trail; a trail covered in much brush and not exactly the safest place during the night hours which he would indeed be there for. Panthers a common pet of the elbs are not so friendly with humans and are present in great numbers in the Semalon area. He knows he will run into some elbs on his journey as well so he thought it, a good idea to stop at the Misha Camp before he went in.

The Misha Camp is overrun with gypsies and witches of black magic. Another place not seen by many and its existence believed by only those who made it back safely. Most of which were hexed and ruled out as crazy anyway. He heard about this place from his grandfather as well so he was prepared and knew a few tricks. He remembers one instance where his grandfather told him "If you ever run into a mob of gypsies say Bhackdello and it may save you some trouble". Not sure what it meant he figured it would be his best chance.

Upon his arrival he was greeted by a few shorter, uglier, dirtier male mage gypsies and he noticed they were not to happy to see him and were making there way toward him. He proclaimed Bhackdello!!! They stopped with confused looks on their faces and looked at each other puzzled. One nodded to another and they moved to each side of the boy and cleared a path for him to enter the camp. He was rather relieved to see what he could get here as he would need it for the trip trough the trail. He started making his selections....
