Dr. Rabbitz surveyed his newly built surgery with a proud eye. Just three months construction and it was finished, the foreman had signed the completion papers just the day previous. Pristine, white-washed walls spoke of the cleanliness and hygiene of the equally pristine interior.
He heard the drone of flies buzzing and turned to look across the street. Now if only the neighbours could keep their land tidy. Buddy, the neighbours large pitbull-crossed-with-everything mutt, opened an eye lazily and stared at him for a moment. Looking into those eyes reminded the doctor of Billy Anderson, a young boy he had treated for what had appeared to be bite and claw wounds, little more than a week earlier. Billy's eyes had turned that very same colour before he'd run off. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to make of that. Nonetheless he'd kept the stange events to himself. The boy had no parents, they'd apparently been killed in whatever incident had caused so many to come and set up this small town.
He walked around the hospital, towards the small hut that was his home. It was simple, consisting of three rooms and a bathroom, but it was comfortable and it was small enough that he could keep it clean easily. He slowly became aware of several flies buzzing around him, and immediately looked down, expecting that the neighbours had allowed buddy to 'do his business' on the construction site again. There was a rustling in the bushes dotted decoratively around the hospital behind him. He turned.
Dr. Rabbitz's last thoughts were, "My god, the eyes!"...

Boredom and free-time has prompted me to decide to finally try to run one of
these which I was told/read/found out about ages ago.
The details are explained
here and I thus have no real desire to detail everything, but I will cover the basics, just for those of you who want a reason for following a link
Essentially we have a group of people within a newly founded town (the people moved because of an outbreak of werewolf attacks). Unknown to most of the villagers, several of their number had been attacked and changed, becoming more of the monsters that had plagued their last settlement.
So basically you all RP living in a small village/town some time in the late 1950s, except for some of you, who RP being a clandestine werewolf living in a small village/town during the late 1950s.
The game is organised into a series of cycles. At the beginning of each day cycle a human (chosen by the werewolves) is discovered dead. Then it the village has to RP the consequences of that death, drawing conclusions from others and deciding who they think is a werewolf and publically voting for that person, the person who "wins" that vote will be lynched, and is killed.
Night cycles should be fairly short, since it's essentially just time for the wolves to pick their next target.
If all the wolves are lynched, then congratulations, the remaining humans have the opportunity to live long happy productive lives in their new, werewolf-free town.
If enough humans are killed that their are an even number of wolves and humans, then the wolves can easily dispatch the remaining humans and they win.
Whether we use any of the special roles, and the number of werewolves, will depend on the number of people who want to join.
Signups should contain a job within the community and a name (This is roleplaying afterall people) since your persona's skills will result in nothing, there's little point in having a town filled with battle-hardened ex-special-forces silver-equipped psychopaths so be creative. Once I'm ready I'll start a new thread and PM everyone their roles.
