Re: my lilŽenglish questionnaire
"Taking a whiz" maybe?
Semper Fi(delis) is latin, meaning "Always Faithful" and is the motto of the US Marines, the US Coastguard and IPC ( ).

Re: my lilŽenglish questionnaire
this has nothing to do with english. it's american tripe. if yanks are going to use our language as their main language then they should AT LEAST use it correctly

Re: my lilŽenglish questionnaire
it's not the slang i'm worried about (too much), just some of the stupid spellings, eg:
ass = some sort of donkey NOT Arse

Re: my lilŽenglish questionnaire
its usually a sanitary towel, or sanitary panty liners (damn I hate the word 'panty'). And they used to be lovely towel things you would take out and wash and re-use, so its just that they have evolved (thankfully) but they stuck with the old name.
And why do you want to know about feminine hygiene products?

Actually, the derivation of 'ass' was from the old english word 'ars'. Now tell me which is closer to the original.
