Shraan Mercinary Triads: Days of Tension

Fishbone rolled the cigarette around in his lips for a few seconds, and considered his response. He made sure to have a friendly look in his eye.

"I wasn't looking for him for any trouble, but thanks a lot. Ruthie's eh? I'll head over there later maybe. Bit early for a drink. See you later" he grinned and wandered off, further into the Slums.

Adam was in Ruthies - hopefully he'd find a few of these senior officers who had contact with Hantori. Fishbone gritted his teeth. A communication device of some type, to talk to his partner, would have been useful. As he wandered further into the Slums, he noticed how the light seemed to diminish. There seemed to be no types of armoury around here. Still two and a half hours before rendezvous with Adam also.

Fishbone walked down a sidestreet, and then down another. He noticed a subtle looking shop, with a few guns in the windows. He wandered into the shop selling firearms, and approached the shopkeeper. He made it obvious he was examining the weapons for a significant amount of time, and then turned to the owner.

"Nice armoury you have here. Very nice..." He opened his mouth slightly, letting his eyes scan over the weapons again "Do you happen to know a guy named Hantori?"

*The Commander handed Ceaser his payment... Ceaser looked at it an realised that
he should probably get himself some new weapons to protect himself... that sword was so slow out of its scabbard... with out realising it Carrick handed Ceaser the Uzi guy's other Uzi.... "Ah well, thats that sorted..." Ceaser thought to himself...

Carrick: "Sell it, keep it call it spoils of war. Its only fair I'm heading for the armoury to see what they have on offer you interested?"

"Sure" Ceaser says... "I need some other heavy weapons anyway..."

*Together, the two mercenairies walk off towards the Armoury...

These revolvers aren't like the ones we have at present time, these are Shraan Revolvers, same concept, different design. Powerful to a fault of slight inacuracy, but at 500 yards they can still hit a target, even if it was only the arm.

[Fluffie]

Not pretty.

Those were Fluffie's thoughts as he assessed the situation and quickly put the assistent, the 9mm's silencer still stuck in his mouth, between himself and the pistol wielding owner. Thinking less and acting more, Fluffie tries to quickly aim for the real shopkeeper's torso, arms or legs, through the head of the assistent he is holding. He does it all hurriedly, firing a shot through the man's head when he thinks he's got a nice aim.

After the first shot, Fluffie pulls the weapon out of (what remains of) the bloody head, fires off another shot and then gets behind some cover, trying to locate the shopkeeper.

"This is no ****ing raid and this could've went smooth, even for you. Fool!"

Giving something nearby one hell of a kick, he partially vents his rage and partially completes a "Mission Objective", roughing up the store a bit.

The man watched in horror as his worker was shot through the head, the bullet passing not far from his leg. At this point he darted to the side, firing a single shot that goes wide, rolling on the floor and staying under cover.

But if this ain't a raid, what is it?

The man then proceeds to attempt to edge towards the security alarms used to call policing forces, if any, towards the area.

The armoury did not really hold up to much, everything was more or less standard equipment down here. However, some of it was definatly not the same equipment as seen in the Triad Armoury. The prices were different also.

Handguns:
9mm Pistol - 100c

Double Barrel - 150c

Micro-Minigun - 1000c
A minigun-like device strappable to an arm. Fires Uzi rounds, but uses up ammo very quickly and is very inaccurate


SMG
Saxolite SMG - 500c
A modified G25a SMG with better accuracy but a slower ammo consumption than a G21 SMG. Can have 1 upgrade.


HMG
Saxolite Mount HMG - 2500c
HMG with an Explosive Round System, this weapon is a modified Mount HMG that has a lower rate of fire but a better AP rate then all other HMGs. However this weapon MUST be mounted at all times during fire due to excessive back-fire. This weapon can cause critical muscle strain during repetitive fire.


Upgrades:
Flashlight - 75c

Silencer - 100c

Explosive Round System: - 500c
Can only be used for HMG and SMG weapons, this can increase AP rate and armour damage considerably. It does not increase AP as far a Energy Enhancers would, but it does have a very useful effect upon all armour, from light to heavy (ie, it can damage armour to stages of unusability).

Ammo:
9mm Ammo - 5c per mag (12 bullet)
Revolver Ammo - 20c per quick-loader (6 bullet)
Tranq Ammo - 1c per mag (5 darts)
Uzi Ammo - 100c per mag (50 bullets)
SMG Ammo - 100c per mag (75 bullets)
Rifle Ammo - 50c per mag (20 bullets)
HMG Ammo - 10c per mag (50 bullets)
Lazer Batteries - 25c each (drain depends on lazer weapon type)
Non-Guided Missile - 50c each
Cluster Non-Guided Missile - 75c each
Guided Missile - 100c each
Cluster Guided Missile - 125c each
Mini-Nuke Missile - 1000c each

"A reminder. It seems you have some outstanding..."

Fluffie, if he can, fires a shot at the alarm or man, depending on which he can hit best. Not to kill him or destroy the alarm, but more as to warn him to not do it.

"Favours."

There's a small, deliberate pause between the two spoken parts - an interbellum filled up with the (silenced) shot. After the shot, Fluffie tries to get a good, clear aim at the man.

"Rough up the store, give him some pain to remember."

The above sounds as if the 'assassin' was reciting his mission briefing, more to himself than to the other. But still, it's muttered loud enough for the shopkeeper to hear."

"But you had to point a ****in' gun at me. I suggest you drop it now. Toss it over to me."

Fluffie sighs, loud enough for the man to hear.

"I'm not going to kill you, I'm just going to make sure you don't kill me."

While at the Armoury Ceaser looks around at the array of wepaons....

"I'll take that one," says Ceaser pointing at the Saxolite SMG "And i will get 2 SMG ammo packs as well...."

Fishbone looked down at the light armour on the desk, and back at the shopkeeper. He spoke slowly, and in a tone that hinted that the information he was giving the shopkeeper was confidential.

"I have some work for him, that he is particularly suited for. I need someone who knows what they're doing. You know where I could find him?"

After this shout a few more bullets rippled past, hitting the lights above you and making the fragments fall around you. This wasn't really something made to harm you, it was more or less a warning shot.

"I've done nothing! I've killed no-one! I have many favours outstanding... but how can I pay the mafia with the almost zero profits I make here?"

This end of Geklon City would have been a majestic area, the awe of the City and most probably the richest area of the lower levels. That would have been true if the riots did not desicrate the area, making it no more majestic than the bottom ends of a sewage pipe. Three huge towers are seen dominating the city over in the background, these were the towers led by the leading Saxolite Clans (Kileron Clan, Eath Clan and the Yanbetari Clan) and controlled the rest of the city bleow.

Fluffie, especially after the shots killing the lights, was getting very agitated. This all was supposed to go smooth. He could have been gone, but somewhere this whole situation got ****ed up. This was audible in his voice when he spoke, it was cold, uncaring and definitely annoyed.

"Not my ****ing problem! Now do you want me to kill you RIGHT NOW, or do you want me to come back when you **** up your pathetic life again?"

The assassin had a look around him... Pinpointing the shopkeeper's location, he prepared himself to launch himself into an attack. He could only have so much, and so was about to be reached.

"So throw your bloody weapon at me and show yourself. NOW!"

Fishbone smiled and thanked the man.

"What's the quickest way there, would you say?"

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully and waited for the man's answer.

Looking around ASME heads towards an unfriendly looking area of housing... it would be a good area to "find" equipment that he might need. As ASME entered the estate, as some would call it, he noticed a burly fellow approching him with what seemed to be a badly concealed club behind his back... ASME looked at the man..tookout his SMG and made a point of letting the man see the gun before walking on

lol, remember that immortality and psychics was not 'introduced' into the world until AcidK's arrival, a good 1990 years after present date of RPG

The mutation can be a tail, but your co-ordination of movement would be less due to tail and legs to think about. However it can act as an extra hand (if thin) or an extra leg (if thick)
