Then we can all say **** the Middle East and let them go back to killing each other off. Or just nuke the ******** and pave it all over into the worlds largest parking space.

Yes because once you've manufactured, packaged and distributed an endless supply of said cells you won't need other fuels anymore.

Plus Fuel Cells make plastics, so we won't have to use crude oil for them either!

That means by extension we'll also be able to derive all the organic compounds required for the drugs and biotechnologies that support our civilisation!

Fuel cells are way overdue for common use. In collage 15 years ago I read about a fuel cell "home powerplant" the size of a home dishwasher that would supply all of a homes power needs with electricity to spare. It said it would be available to the public within 5 years. I'm still waiting to buy one, freedom from the power utilities would be wonderful. No doubt they are the reasons I'm still waiting for it.
