Tyres lose performance as they wear, so moderate/heavy wear is quite slow
Also fuel.

All it takes is me to retire in a race that you or Lok win and I'll be easily catchable.

Oh and if you helped Demon Dave with his settings then you'll be in with a great chance in the constructors championship.

Re: Online racing manager game
turn experimentation down to 75 or so
also for qualifying, i tend to bank a lap in first, so like 40 aggression on hard tyres early on, then push hard in the next two runs

you can leave each other messages and things.
And blasto always loads my settings and comes much lower than me... then I load his and find he's changed them round a bit. heh.

Re: Online racing manager game
When it rains and shit during the actual race but it is sunny for the warmup, i dont get the engineers 'advice' such as when he says
FW +20
RW +30
does that mean i want to add 20 to front wing and 30 to rear wing?
If it was reversed warmup was rain and and race was dry, id -20 from FW and -30 from RW?

whenever I load your setup I have absolutely no idea how you got it either.
It always seems way off what the engineer advised and what I got for my max min settings.
If you're doing it first - make sure you reset all your values to roughly what the engineer says before starting the practice...

Re: Online racing manager game
Is there any way of playing this league thing where all the cars are the "same"? (ie renault aren't the "best"?)
It's fun but there's always that thing that means basically the best cars will win.

Re: Online racing manager game
no, the best cars don't always win.
the best player wins more often.
Hence why I'm in front.
and I haven't won many races, I'm just consistent. OH DO YOU SEE MY DRIVER CHARACTERISTIC - IT SAYS CONSISTENT
If the best car always won then Blasto would be 2nd every time.
Now stop complaining and improve damnit. (although the reliability of the renault is pretty good I have to say.... I'm gonna retire immediately in the next race aren't i )
And yes, there is a league that we can play once this one has finished if you like where all cars are equal.
However, my plan was to give the worst people at the end of this league first choice of cars in the next league, or something like that anyway.
Then we'd see if you're shit or it's just your car.

Re: Online racing manager game
well to be honest in different leagues, I am pretty consistent myself, but i race shit cards like Midland etc. Settings are perfect, pit stratergies are spot on, but I always finish behind the ****ing renault because it is to ****ing consistent out of all the cars in any game i play.

well, you're obviously doing something wrong seeing as the last 4 results for your car are R 10 R R
Maybe you need to look at your settings?

Re: Online racing manager game
I dont mind the retirements, they just seem to happen randomly imo, bad luck i guess. During the said races i started well, stormed up the field usually gain 8+ places during the first few laps, first couple of races i was just testing pit stratergies. Im not really bothered which car I get as long as my team partner is active, but there is no disputing that some are ALOT better than others

god no there not
All teams using Michelin tyres can now expect a performance increase following improvements in the product.
Customers of the Renault RS26 power pack can look forward to enhanced performance. All teams using this engine can now expect a performance increase.

Me and PSH have pretty much identical setups most races that we spend a while tuning in.
We're bound to finish below a properly set up Renault, because it's faster than us.
