Donations
It could just be me - but none of the donations made to me from the gal fund last round showed up on my news.

Fix this? It's irritating.

Have fixed it
Done the same thing for alliance donations.
It was removed when we had the alliance / galaxy fund logs added, but the player not knowing what's donated and often not having access is not best

Are alliance donations shown when the donation is received at the planet, or when it is sent from the alliance? It'd be intersting to have it on the news page when it's sent from the alliance, so one could news scan to see if the planet has an incoming donation from alliance before you land.

with the current ship production i don't think it realy changes anything.

If the donation isn't visible on a news scan at eta 1 the targeted planet needs alot of factories to build enought ships.

Additionally, gal/ally fund donations are very hard to trace to a particular ship production as ships can be hided "forever" in the production.
I think it was the funniest r22 moment when the xan who attacked me with 500k fi and wasn't scared by my 20k beetle and those 5k buccs a gal mate sent. As he wasn't frightend he landed... on my 100k beetles. All due to hidden production.

One can produce ships for almost 15m res in 4 ticks with only 6 factories.
