This week, I shall be mostly reading...
The Buisness by Iain Banks.
First mainstream novel of his I've read. It's great.
Also, Cosmonaught (sic) Keep by Ken MacLeod.
Quite good. Even though he is a commie scumbag.

Currently I am reading 'Black House' by King/Straub, The Fellowship of the Ring by you know who, the first book of the wheel of time, and Underworld by Graham Hancock.
Although not all at the same time.

Player of Games is still his best book imo.

'apparently' his earlier books are out of print in the us.
a copy of 'consider phlebas' goes as high as $250 on amazon.com.
which isn't very cool. but i found out that i can get them from the canadian amazon, which sounds very much like a geographic location, for a reasonable price. and that's what i did. and i got into a struggle of LIFE AND DEATH in the middle of the CANADIAN AMAZON. i won of course. but that's a different story.

Just over 500 pages in my copy, but you can scratch about fifty of that for introduction, glossary etc. 470 I guess.
