Web designers in need of a job
i represent a group of people,, and we're making a website for our cause
i've been put in charge for overseeing the making of this, but i haven't got the time to make it myself, and i need one of you wonderful people to do it for me
i'll tell you the details, sadly, it's a group that believes in 'democracy', so i'll need to go back to them with a quote before we give the job to anyone, i'll also need an example of your work
pm me pls, i can meet with people tomorrow on irc

Depends what you want WST mate. If it's just HMTL and gfx I can do that, but not db driven stuff.
And I'd only do that on account of you being in Jessica.
i don't know if anyone else would be as nice

it's got to be good, we're a youth council, and some prat has given us 3 grand to spend on this
show me your best mate, and i'll see
i have to get the best offer for the best quality, so......
apparently, i'm not allowed to make it cheap and keep the rest of the money
btw, it needs to be hosted and maintained by the maker too guys

Give me some specs and I'll see what i can do. best to find me on IRC to ask any questions/to talk further.
Have you considered rentacoder.com? i have an account there too, you place a project and people bid for it. over 30,000 programmers.

3k (i'm assuming we're talking GBP here) isn't incredibly much if you want pros to make it, and need hosting. It depends on how much interactivity the site requires. DB coding quickly add to the bill.

it's very asain oriented actually, even though it's american based. Yesturday I placed 10 bids, 2 of those i've won ($80), and i've had a private bid request (where the buyer invites only me to bid) on another i'm considering bidding at $750.
however before that i've placed about 30 bids and not gotten any responce. it's all about style and research, as i discovered yesturday, as 3 out of 10 isn't bad...

the problem with rentacoder is programmers make lousy web designers (look at the rentacoder site in something other than Internet Explorer! (as well as a multitude of other sins)).
If you want a quote off of me email more details to [email protected] and i'll provide a quote (and previous examples if you dont know of any)
