Re: Round 13 predictions
Kjeldoran was banned as he was on his last warning. Obviously one, or even a few, poor posts will not result in a ban. However if you knowingly persist in making the same poor posts when you have been informed of the error in your ways action will be taken. Nobody is here to destroy AD. All that is required is a minimum level of rationality and willingness to discuss in your posts.
If you have anything further to add on this topic please use the "private messaging function" to outline your concerns to any of myself, lokken or JJ. Thanks.

Re: Round 13 predictions
Then the description of 'stand-alone' is quite controversial, so are Wrath included in the measurement of Fury? As that bolsters them up a tad.

Re: Round 13 predictions
I don't know, Xanadu was just an alliance that basicly organised their members by using a wing system. It was just the structure of our alliance. I guess you can see Wrath as a part of Fury, yes.

Then how can you claim Xanadu were the best stand-alone alliance as a fact?
Furthermore, politics is a (major) part of the game hence being good alone doesn't win always make you the best - FACT.

Re: Round 13 predictions
This thread is going way off-topic again!
Anyways: all this whining happens every friggin round; its always the losers of the round who call the winners blockers, nappers, cheaters, multies and talk about -what if- on how the other losing alliances could/should have acted so they could have won themselves.
It is getting kinda boring after playing for 10 rounds and seeing the same drivel and bitterness being posted on here every round by the losers and then the winners defending, with the occasional troll jumping in to comment and turn things into flames.
Oh and my predications for R13;
To be very honest I have none, cause i cba thinking about it. I'll let the HC do the politics eh

WTF?!
What's so difficult about it?
Xanadu was a single alliance. How it was organized internally does not make a difference.
If an alliance put its members into private galaxies, instead of randomly throwing them around the universe, does that turn the alliance into a non-standalone alliance?
And about R13:
The only super alliance left in the game - NewDawn !

just what i've been thinking for a long time now! Thats why i stopped reading it until the other day when i was bored. Does seem to be a pointless thread, indeed; there's not even any 'round 12 review' going on now.

Re: Round 13 predictions
Some would suggest Round Predictions threads are just as annoying as Past Round review ones, the only real difference is the latter has some grounding in Fact.
It does seem there was a lot of pent up feelings waiting to be released though, it is a shame it was released in a thread covering a different subject though

Xanadu standing alone? Which round was that?
The only way to settle the argument would be to get a bunch of former Xanadu members back together to fight it out with 1up in r13 . After all, the argument will never be settled on AD - r4-r6 were years ago and no amount of arguing since has changed any opinions.
As for r13 predictions, I predict that LCH will finish 2nd, though I have no idea who will win.

Re: Round 13 predictions
i doubt you will get enough people from those old allies playing (of those who don't have a new alliance nowadays anyway), after all there must be a reason why they quit.
But, with a decent setup, you might attract enough of them just for a speed round again?

When you come up with a proper response, I could find out why i'm wrong. What a useless, pointless post. FWIW, the nobbing of MISTU was the only effective spanking of an alliance in a short space of time this round from my point of view. Like any other player without intelligence access (because i'm not an HC) although one that can see the results of our battles, MISTU got done good and proper. I've just used statistics to come to that point of view. If you've got the balls to say why i'm wrong, and chuck some facts out onto the forum, go ahead - I've no problems in seeing others point of view.
Putting my mod hat on briefly, outright criticism/flaming or trolling is not acceptable behaviour. If you want to pick an argument with another user, it's preferable you attempt to justify what you're saying, rather than start a mindless flamewar that is not appropriate for this forum.

Oh. Snap. I think I've found an inconsistency with your FACT.
PS: My "Fury" Alarm didn't go off thus my lateness to this thread.

Must have been a mistype. I could have sworn that Fury got their asses kicked round8.

we should be able to flame/troll depending on how much reputation points we have (since we have it now) - flaming and trolling and reactions from them really interest a lot of regulars here on AD and keep this forum alive.. i think.. - and it gets boring sometimes when all posts are based on pure facts - its like reading a newspaper.. really boring
