TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
Well we're still on the first set, 4-3 to Henman.
Considering Coria's been built up to be some sort of a clay-court god, so far they seem evenly matched.
Thoughts?

Re: TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
It's now 5-3 Henman, and Henman just broke Coria's serve to get there.
Not such a walk in the park as you thought it would be eh, Mr Coria?

Re: TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
You cant guarentee anything with henman. Likelihood is he chokes and loses the set on a tiebreak.
Doing ****ing well though, come on tim.

It would be great if Henman won this tournament. But hey, yeah, whatever
He's never made it to the semis in Wimbledon, has he?

Set Henman!
And that's the first set Coria has lost in the entire tournament.
Heh.

Re: TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
Why are the BNP sponsoring the match?
Also - why is it I turn on and he loses a game, I know it went with serve but I bet he loses because I started to watch.

Shock as Clay Court specialist, and tournament favourite, beats Henman on clay.
And what's with all these argentinians all of a sudden.

He blew that when serving for the 4th set. If he couldhave won that he would have had a great chance in the 5th set.

Yeah, almost taking the favourite, who before today hadn't dropped a set in this tournament, to the 5th set is an ass whooping all right.
And anyone who thinks Henman is crap is deluding themselves.

Same old story, what a surprise. As soon as Henman was broken near the end of the second set I turned off the tv because it was so painfully obvious that he was going to lose (even though he was still winning 1 set to 0).

Henman is not a winner. He is certainly a decent tennis player but he is not a winner.

Re: TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
It's not worth making a thread over, so I'll say it here:
BBC Online Sports sometimes has terrible sentence construction.
For example,
'Olympic gold medallist Cathy Freeman was the first torch carrier as the Olympic flame began its global tour to this year's Athens Games in Australia. '

Re: TIMMYYYYY! (aka the French Open Semi-Final)
I've noticed this too (and on BBC News Online).
You honestly have to ask yourself if they actually READ what they've written sometimes.
2 viable alternatives:
'In Australia today, Olympic gold medallist Cathy Freeman was the first torch carrier as the Olympic flame began its global tour to this year's Athens Games in Greece'.
'Olympic gold medallist Cathy Freeman was the first torch carrier as the Olympic flame began its global tour, begining in Australia, to this year's Athens Games'.
I should write for the beeb, etc...
