[MOVIE] the passion of the christ
Poor, tasteless sensastionalist cinimatic torment.
I have nothing against filming religious happenings, but the manner in which this movie is made, made me almost puke. The story in itself is thin as a sheet and it seems to thrive purely on the fact the leading character is the christ, and the sheer gore.
If you're not into this gore and torment thing then it's even right-out boring.
This is not a movie one watches for the fun. This a movie one accidentally watches when one grabbed the wrong tape in the store or wants to waste two hours of ones life.
AWFULL!

CARTMAN: I saw Mel Gibson's The Passion, and in it he says Jews are The Devil, and if the Road Warrior says it it must be true!

I thought Joe Peschi and Danny Glover were underused and noticed a distinct lack of car chases

To paraphrase South Park I'm not going to go to the cinema just so I can sit through a 2hr long snuff film.

Re: [MOVIE] the passion of the christ
It wasn't a bad movie I thought, but certainly nothing spectacular. I also contest the claims of it being a gory film, especially the delusional ones claiming it had more gore than Kill Bill.

To quote my father when commenting on this film:
"Well, if you didn.t like the book you probably won't like the movie."
