My work
This is still not an exciting story and follows on from this thread.


Anyways ...


The EO of section 3B did drop back to PO3 yesterday.

The deputy EO in my section (3C) did stay on and is now the temp EO in 3B.

My current EO (who is a temp EO from the dayshift who will be working as the temp 2-10 EO until the end of December) spoke to me yesterday and basically said that he wanted me to be the deputy EO for 3C (even tho we've got a former EO in the section now).

The reasoning for this is that my bosses want me to become the temp EO on the 2-10 shift come January and it will be easier to justify giving it to me (my HEO gets to decide who she wants from all those who respond to an internal "expression of interest" ... i've been told however that it's mine if i want it) if i've had *some* EO experience (ie i sub up whenever my EO is off).

Im slightly worried about the politics aspect of "jumping above" a former EO to be deputy but "**** it".



Anyways just keeping people updated *shrug*

oh and if the ex EO person was crap at what ever an EO does and instead of getting promoted up got bumped back to the shop floor (or where ever it is non EO types might be) then he/she is ripe for being trampled on a bit on your way up.
