Yeah I found that when I was forced to use Opera a while back (my firefox wouldn't work )

It does show the link, I think it's an error in the forums actually, not Opera (or so Leshy told me). If you hover the mouse JUST UNDER where the name of the thread is, it'll tell you the first few lines of the first post, as normal.

Mark, Opera works in the sense that it doesn't need a gazillion security patches and updates to be vaugely stable and secure nor does it require me to spend a great deal of effort in researching and installing custom modules and such for it to be flexible and user friendly.

Actually, the first browser to use tabs was NetCaptor.

Although I believe Opera was first - and still the only one - to have a multiple document interface. It has windows inside the main window that you can resize, rearrange, minimize, maximize etc. There is no plugin for Firefox that I know of that would allow you to open two or more pages side by side, for example.

It's a shame that many people only use Opera/Firefox on the basis of security, when they deserve to be praised as far superior browsers for other reasons.
