Yeah, I'd kill 50 people. Not including myself though, I think I'd be too selfish to do that. It would probably be the 50 oldest looking people to die.

I'd take a risk and turn the gun on the hostage takers, although I'm quite confident in my ability to win under such circumstances.

Sure, the hostages might die. So might I, but I wouldn't be the one that killed them - and the executioner would be the first to die out of everyone.

Maybe not ideally, but under the circumstances I doubt there'd be time to determine the intellectual value of all 100 people, which is why I'd just base my decision on something simple like how old they look.
