Should Sunday be unbanned? (ever)
Well, yes or no?
As democracy is ripe throughout the western world, I believe the mod's should take notice of the result - whatever it may be.
Oh, and poll it if possible.

I believe that it's a decision best left to the moderating team and not to the forum users (who are probably still surprised it took so long to ban him again)

For reference, Rule 1 says that the moderators decision is final and no debate will be entered into, So if he comes back , he comes back, and the mods will deal with him on a day by day basis as we did previously.
Unfortunately , today was DM's birthday or something. He doesnt like being reminded that hes the wrong side of 1000 nowadays.

Re: Should Sunday be unbanned? (ever)
Banning Sunday8pm for the above post is somewhat unjustified.
Granted, he's been shit again lately, so it's not as if I care muchly. Still, when he's not being utterly shit he's an addition to the forum, so yeah, he should be allowed to come back.

Re: Should Sunday be unbanned? (ever)
Sunday's a useful addition 'bout 50% of the time.
'ok' 40%
But the other 10% is pure abuse for the sake of it or trolling or refusing to admit he's wrong.
So I guess let him back 90% of the time!

He's not worse than anyone else when he's not trolling or posting about how good he is. Which, tbh, he's only recently started doing again.

If you make that 86% oif the time (85.7% for the pedants among you) we can ban him 1 day per week... (Sundays would seem logical)

Did a big fite happen that i missed? if so please link to the thread
i think everyone should be allowed on the forums, just ignore people you don't like, or maybe have an option where you delegate your ignore options to the mods like a pseudo ban or something, think back to all the people who you didn't like but added flavour to the forums.

surprisingly enough, i dont think he should be perma banned, there again, i dont think that shai should either :/
i think that the biggest case for the ban is that ego thread he made the other day just before christmas saying how great he was :/ which annoyed me

I'd imagine he was banned for trolling in that thread, not that post specifically. I personally reported the below post :

Trolling is against the forum rules we're told, and he was supposed to be on his final-absolute-last-chance warning. Again.
But on topic, let him sign up another account but leave his other account banned. There needs to be some kind of incentive against being a twat.

I think it would be funny if the default mode was to have sunday on ignore.
Then he could come into threads, spout whatever he wants, and he'd get no reaction!
Everyone's happy

Many people have said that about yourself too.
Sunday has a remarkable ability to stretch the rules to their limit without ever really breaking them. I'ld put my money on his account being active again.

Re: Should Sunday be unbanned? (ever)
this means that I am the only meaningful poster on that moron weeks' ignore list
so who is going to post random BBC links then now sunday is gone?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4129929.stm
President Laurent Gbagbo has called on the United Nations to impose sanctions on neighbouring countries involved in Ivory Coast's two year conflict.
Mr Gbagbo said a leaked UN report detailing widespread abuses showed the country was a victim of deserting soldiers backed by neighbours.
The report blames government forces and rebels and speaks of mass executions, torture, rape and death squads.
The country has been divided since 2002 with rebels in control of the north.
Mr Gbagbo called for the UN to name the countries involved but says abuses committed by his forces should not be compared with those committed by the rebels.

Sunday should be allowed back. My personal opinion is that bans should be avoided if at all possible. I know it was supposedly a 'last chance', but don't reckon a ban was strictly necessary in this case.

he's had too many last chances. if he was fully within the rules the rest of the time, one thing. but he isn't, he's always pushing.

Re: Should Sunday be unbanned? (ever)
the question therefore becomes:
can they unban him and still keep any credibility?
if sunday gets unbanned shouldnt everyone who is perma banned be unbanned?
is it worth keeping a ban on him when he can bring a lot to the community when he so chooses
any chance of a mod actually making a statement about if its a permanent ban or a temp ban for a specific reason?
