Most people coming here probably already know why an you want an ally but just incase...
Allies:
Attack together giving them lots more chance of landing attacks.
Usually have some kind of set up so as to provide some level of
scan access for its members.
In many cases
defend each other across the universe.
And.. maybe most importantly..
Hang out with each other and chat in their free time becoming
friends.
Now a lot of allies forget one or even more of the key features of an alliance, however, ASS provides all the points.
Attack targets are put up at a similar time every night so that all members have a chance to come on and select where they would like to hit to join the attack.
Scanners are arranged to be on during the 'nights' to give aid finding out what your incoming hostiles are and also scans are made available at a similar time every morning so as you can sign on at one time in the morning reliably to pick up your attack scans to decide if to pull your attacks or not.
Defence is encouraged and all members are offered help to improve their ability to understand their incomings and and how to help each other in defending. A points system is applied so that those with the best defence activity are those that are first defended in the harshest ticks of the round. The best DCs and defenders of the ally each round receive free credits for the next round in ASS.
Finally, ASS is known for being the friendliest alliance in PA.. tho ofc this is only an opinion. We hang out together online, play other games together and all questions, whether for PA related to help you improve your games or just about random other stuff, are always welcomed by the community. We enjoy hanging out so much that we have regular meet ups around the world... anyone in ASS this round feel free to ask where and when the next meetup is available for you to join.
