Going Random is indeed a good option. As a winning tool BPs are overrated. They're supposed to allow friends to play together, that's all. No difference really between going random or joining a BP with people you don't know...

Regardless of whether you play with them or not, your gonna have to pray for a semi active gal or your BP is gonna crash and burn. This means relying on people you don't know. That's how friendships are forged.
