about the quarter finals

It seems to me that we have three groups of people and the next round ought to reflect and reward that.

We have the four current knockout winners : isildurx, 1-X, Ste, Apothos.
I'm putting them in group 1, with the top 2 going through to the semi-finals.

We have those who are doing best in the overall league : Phang, JC, ReligFree, roadrunner. I'm throwing in All Systems Go with these because he only missed being in group 1 on a technicality. Of those 5 in group 2, the winner will be the third semi-finalist (and will play 2nd in group 1 next round)

Finally, Group 3, we have everyone else, those who've done badly and been knocked out. The losers from the other two groups will also be added to this one, so you really have to do well to win it, but it is a direct route from nowhere to the semi-finals. This gives everyone something to play for. (The winner will play the group 1 winner, supposedly the favourite to win.)

We'll use the scores after 90 minutes.

We'll have half-times H/D/A for these games too, and a [J] next to one of them for double points.
