I'd say the aiming was a degree more difficult, however, given that the instantaneous speed someone could move at was much higher, and of course the lack of a crosshair.
Assuming you don't play with autoaim on, of course, but that removes a lot of the skill of the enterprise.
The movement is a lot simpler, as is the vertical element of the maps (which I believe I've commented upon before in this thread), although the latter of these is certainly fixed to a great degree in Perfect Dark, which, aside from the framerate problems, is a superior game.
