[ooc] Enforcers should only intervene if absolutely necessary (i.e. if somebody has broken a rule) so that nobody has to wait on them. Commentators don't really affect anything so nobody should care what they do anyway. All is in character, else it's boring. [/ooc]

*David marches into the arena after spending rather a long time at the weapons cupboard. Wearing full grey camouflage (to blend with the concrete of the arena), anything he might have obtained seems to be distributed about the various pockets on his flak jacket, combat trousers and belt. His beret is black, rather than the usual navy blue, but in his hands he nevertheless wields his favourite weapon, the Kinschien rifle. One of the more noticeable features in his outline is a sword in a sheath hanging from his belt.

*Lengthy descriptions over, supposedly everybody just admiring him for the total time it might take to read the first paragraph (slow readers inevitably more amazed than fluent ones), David steals away, out of the bright arena centre, to hide among the shadows in the arena edges.*

Notes: A Kinschien rifle is basically a single-shot rifle with lots of good features that you might want with one. It doesn't really exist.
The sword looks fairly ceremonial and majestic, but probably isn't very good in practice. The tip of the scabbard is loosely strapped to David's leg, which means it won't swing around and make it too awkward.
