Re: ND's Christmas Surprise

DMing begins for the day - December 22nd, 2004
You morons aren't going to get out of here alive if you don't start posting more quickly!!!!!!1112

Dunin
Acknowledging the command, you punch in the code to close the door and then lock it. You hear the heavy metal bolts sliding across from the doorframe into the door's interior - it's secure. This done, you move over to the main heavy bulkhead door and lock that from the inside as well. Finally, you start moving toward the doors leading further down into the base. You can either take the elevator - you can hear the mechanism whirring inside the shaft, so it must be active - or you can take the stairs. The door to the stairwell is slightly ajar. For a second, you thought you could just make out a scream coming from below.

Darkling
Captain Yoshikawa looks simultaneously alarmed and concerned once you inform him of the presence of Bio Division Commandos.

"Bio Divsion...taking out our coms relays? But that doesn't make any sense at all..." He says, turning away and staring at the floor, apparently lost in deep thought. After a few moments he comes to, turning back to you. "Well, we can rule out radioing for help. We'd need to order those parts from the Supply Depot on Centralia...we need to find a way off this rock, but in the mean time we need to hole down. We've just ordered the guard on the top floor of the research facility complex to pull back into the lower levels. She'll be long gone by the time you get there, I need you to weld the entrance and exit doors to that building shut. Stop anybody from the surface getting into the corridors. Take anything you need from the Armoury on second underground of this building and then get a move on. Every second we waste, they could be getting ready to breach the things."

Fluffie
Mp10 pointed steadily at the wounded Marine, you sidestep around the edge of the line of counters, past the matress and then kick the man's pulse rifle out of reach, though he was making no attempt to get to it. Mathers figures out your intention without any problems, and strips the loaded clip from the pulse rifle, tucking it into one of his combat webbing pouches. Now holding the enemy Marine's chin, you order Mathers to secure the exits.

"Yessir," He replies, running over to the keypad for the main door, which he codes shut and locked. This done, he move back over to the doorway that the two of you just charged through and, leaning against the wall to the right of it, aims his pulse rifle at the hole in the side of the building made by the grenade detonation. It's getting noticeably colder in here now. You apply firm pressure to the man's chin, trying to look mean, and begin to question him. Gradually, the fear in his eyes ebbs away and is replaced by the cold, hard gleam of anger. You finish your question, and his only reply is to spit blood in your face. You notice a line of red making its way out of the corner of his mouth, he is dieing.

"**** you, Bio Division slave." He mutters, staring defiantly up at you. You can already see the life beginning to fade from his eyes, and his breathing is becoming laboured and erratic.
