Help me out here...
My colleague has invited me to a surprised birthday party for his wife.
I've never met the woman in my life.
The guy is a nice chap. Only known him for 4 months or something but it seems much longer than that.
Normally you buy a gift if it was someone's birthday. Even if it's a card.
My question is: Should I buy the woman a card or something more?
OR
should I come empty handed and see what sort of friends she's got for me to flirt with?
