Gareth looked through his scope, down the street at the approaching enemy. Ten of them and one straggler, the choice was obvious who to shoot. He needed to stop them advancing all he needed to do was kill one and they would all run for cover. If he shot someone in the front, though they would all take cover facing his direction. Then he would not be able to get of any more shots. However if that straggler went down chances are they would think they were being attacked from behind. Then when they took cover the heads would be perfectly shootable.

He aimed; he aimed right at the straggler. His head was perfectly visible; it burst like a melon when the 7.62 cartridge blew through his skull. He exhaled he was right on target he pulled the trigger. The gun fired, the street echoed, excellent they could not use sound to tell which direction he shot from. He pulled the action on the rifle the empty casing popped out the chamber. He slid it back in and there was a clicking as another round moved into the chamber from the five round magazine.
