The US making a law to ban guns would reduce these deaths by pointless psycho massacre.
Stopping the desire for one human to murder another is a different issue.
Your 'mentors' have conned you into thinking that the two are somehow connected. They are not.
You see a programme of vaccinating children against measels will not stop the possibility that a child will one day be murdered. However it will stop the possibility of that same child dying of measels. A banning of guns in the US will reduce the possibility of a child being shot to death in a massacre by a psycho; but it will not necessarily stop the possibility of that same child being murdered by dental floss by his jealous wive.
Do you understand why vaccinating children against measels is the right thing to do?
