well, i'd suggest you practice this a lot, when you can do simple shapes, move up to more complicated shapes, when you can, for example, shape a couple of wood blocks into your name within 1 second, i'd say you'd be ready for sure
the next step is changing molecular bonds, thus creating new materials, it's a simple method for restructuring materials but is still quite limited
