well I would kill them and eat them in a sado masochistic cannibal ritual. but that's just me.

It seems the problem is principally between her and her parents, not you and her parents, so just give her whatever support that you are comfortable giving her, since it doesn not look like this will ever turn into a marriage and babies type of relationship.
