if it's a really really shit thread (like one of sigrids) then sometimes it needs someone to come out and say "look, this is shit".

If it's a thread that could be interesting, but the original post is somewhat lacking, then someone saying "this is a shit thread" or "old" isn't constructive.

Although comedy retorts are always welcome.

Maybe the mods need to close truly shit threads quicker so it doesn't seem like they're clogging up the board? There are some days where every new thread you click on is crap.
