My Christmas Thought For Today.

Telly on in background, overheard carol, reminded of verse 2 of "O Come All Ye Faithful"

Now "Lo!" means "Look!" with an expression of surprise so the underlying thought must be that while you'd expect the son of god to go around abhoring virgin's wombs, you'd be wrong in this particular case. Maybe it means he didn't think he was too good for Mary's womb, but abhor is a really strong loathing and frankly if this bloke is putting himself up as some sort of ultimate good guy, not abhoring wombs should go without saying.
