Religious Studies was recently "dressed up" at my school as Philosophy and Ethics. In turn, the number of pupils choosing it as GCSE increased as it sounds more interesting. It's pretty much the same syllabus and exam though. Ridiculous.
That is a somewhat appalling move. Do you teach in a religious school?
