20th Century Achievements

The 20th Century has seem some wonderful technological innovations. This is the first century to experiment with cinematographic equipment and mass-production has seen the ability to purchase an instrument and record music easier than it has ever been. The same goes for art works.

Despite this it all seems to flow to a ocean of mediocrity, where popular is more important for good, for most people. This could be blamed on capitalist forces or peoples desire to be liked or just plain old fashioned human inadequacy, but that's not why I'm posting.

What one piece of art (painting, music, film, fiction, philosophy etc) do you think will be remembered in 100 years time or more? Or more importantly, what should be remembered in 100 years time or more?
